  • Only go swimming if you feel well.
  • Cool off and take a shower before you get in the water.
  • Never go into the water with a full or completely empty stomach.
  • As a non-swimmer, only go into the water up to your stomach.
  • Never call for help unless you are in real danger, but help others when they need help.
  • Do not overestimate yourself and your strength
  • Don’t swim where there are ships and boats.
  • During thunderstorms, bathing is life-threatening. Leave the water immediately and seek shelter in a permanent building.
  • Keep the water and its surroundings clean, throw litter in the trash can.
  • Only jump into the water if it is free and deep enough.
